To supplement the edible landscaping business, we grow a variety of vegetable, culinary, and medicinal herb starts. We sell them at a variety of venues: (1) markets, (2) Plant Sales, (3) directly to organizations to use as fund-raisers, and (4)“Community-Supported Plant Starts“ (which was a hit in 2008!)

CSPS works as follows: for a reasonable fee upfront, we grow you various plant starts throughout the year. That is, in Early Spring (March-April) we start broccoli, kale, cabbage, cauliflower, chard, peas, herbs, etc. In late spring and early summer, we’ll supply tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, and other heat-loving crops. In June and July, when you should plant Brussel Sprouts and Fall Brocoli, we’ll get you those. We can have plants ready on a bi-weekly basis and for enough flats, and are willing to deliver them to you and your community for 4 flats or more. Essentially, what we are providing you is quality plant starts and a path towards year around vegetable production. Also, because you are purchasing a continual supply of plant starts, we can offer you discounts over retail prices.
