Just Garden Project cultivates a culture of gardening by building gardens for low income communities, educating gardeners and celebrating homegrown food as a community.

Youth Garden Works offers youth ages 16-21 to gain a meaningful employment experience in urban agriculture.

Ground Up Organics  (facebook page) also described on the Seattle Tilth blog is an urban agriculture, food justice and food literacy program for youth, young adults and special populations located in the heart of the city of Seattle, WA. Youth ages 14-19 work together to learn about the soil, themselves and the connections we all have to each other and our community.

Clean Greens (idealist page) is a small nonprofit organization, owned and operated by residents of Seattle’s Central District. They are committed to growing and delivering clean and healthy produce for everyone at reasonable prices.  While you’re out and about in the CD check out their G.R.E.A.N House cafe as well

Alley Cat Acres exists to (re)connect people, place + produce by transforming underutilized urban spaces into neighborhood-run farms.
